Hands

Hand-eye coordination. These images were drawn with the pen tool in Adobe Illustrator.
I have a hard time writing about my work, why I do it and why I share it. I like color and shapes. I think hands are important. I like what they mean. I feel it is unecessaary to explain the symbolism of hands, you should be able to feel it and know it yourself. But just in case you need help: connection, creation, care, protection and defense; able-ness and independence. Those are the tings I am thinking about. How about you?

Artist or designer?

I like doing both. But I have made a living as a graphic designer for most of my life. Art is something I am commited to as a form of self-care by using expression and exploration to understand the world. This practice enhances my design work and vice versa.
Love for design

My enthusiasm for design has deepened with the years. The way creative solutions materialize from “just doing it” even when you have no ideas is intriguing and exciting for me. I love to see how rich the output becomes when I collaborate with talented people from different departments.
